Ingredients

Adjust Servings
½ of a whole chicken Chicken Parts buy fresh
1 ½ medium Onion (slice, use it to marinate chicken for a while)
½ piece Pepper (Scotch Bonnet) ripe or green - cut it in half - use to marinate only
1 or more tablespoon Salt
1 cup Barbecue Sauce (homemade or ready-made) - optional
THE CHEF RECOMMENDS USING THESE HERBS,.! (for those who wants to use powdered seasonings add: ½ to 1 teaspoon of All Purpose Seasoning - I could say don't add it; however most people do):
¼ to ½ teaspoon Cilantro & or Parsley (dried or fresh) - flake it
¼ to ½ teaspoon Basil (dried or fresh) - flake it - optional
¼ to ½ teaspoon Rosemary (dried or fresh) - flake it
¼ to ½ teaspoon Tarragon (dried or fresh) - flake it - optional

Directions

Preparation:

Wash chicken part properly with water and white vinegar. To Bake, you will need to preheat the oven at the temperature 350 Degree Fahrenheit.
Lay the chicken parts in a baking tray; with the back facing up without BBQ sauce.

Bake it:

Now, put it in the oven set at 350 Degrees, and allow the chicken to bake for 45 minutes. After that base the baked chicken with BBQ sauce. And then bake for 10 minutes oven set at 450.
Baked Chicken is usually served with rice. Preparation and cooking totals 1:15 minutes.
