1 cup Flour - all purpose buy fresh | |
1 cup Cornmeal | |
¼ cup Brown Sugar | |
¾ teaspoon Salt - I use sea salt | |
2 teaspoons Baking Powder | |
2 whole Eggs | |
1 cup Milk - I use Coconut Milk - whip with ¼ teaspoon of white vinegar | |
¼ cup Butter - I use coconut oil | |
1 teaspoon Vanilla Extracted |

Directions

Mix Dough:
First, sift the flour, cornmeal with the other dry ingredients in a large mixing bowl.
Second, add the milk, eggs, butter, and vanilla.
Now, use a wooden spoon or a mixer to beat the mixture.
After that, cut 2 grease papers to size baking pan you are using.
Mark as complete

Prepare to Bake:
Next grease the baking pan with butter.
Now, add the dough to baking pan.
Lift and drop the baking pan with the dough several times. You do this to release air bubbles from the cake's dough.
Now, use a fork to clamp the edges seal.
Bake in a preheated oven 425°F for 25 to 30 minutes.
Insert a tooth tip in the middle.
If it comes out clean the corn bread is finished.
Mark as complete
