¼ teaspoon Oregano (dried or fresh) | |
½ teaspoon Paprika (smoked) | |
1 teaspoon Cumin (grounded) | |
1 teaspoon Salt | |
½ teaspoon Pepper | |
1 ½ tablespoon Tomatoes (petite diced & drained)) | |
1 to 2 teaspoons Jerk Seasoning | |
8 Taco Shells | |
1 cup Cooking Oil |
Toppings:
Lettuce (shredded) | |
2 Tomatoes (diced) | |

2 tablespoons Mayonnaise | |
1 tablespoon Ketchup | |
¼ - ½ teaspoon Rosemary (dried and flaked, or powdered) | |

¼ teaspoon Onion Powder | |

Directions

Cook it:
You could do this with tiny chicken chunks or minced chicken. If cooking chunks, put large skillet on medium heat, and add enough oil. Allow it to get hot for one minute. Fry chunks for 2 to 3 minutes. If cooking minced do not add oil and allow it to cook for 4 to 5 minutes. Use a cooking spoon to crumble the chicken while it is cooking. Ensure it is cooked properly and it is not raw. After that, drain excess oil/fat…!
Next ,add chili powder, garlic powder, and then the onion powder. Add red pepper flakes, oregano, smoked paprika, cumin, and then salt with pepper. After that one minute, add jerk sauce. Stir seasonings in the meat coating it properly.

Dress it
Now, add diced tomatoes into the saucepan and allow simmering for 2 to 3 minutes more. Lid off..!
After that, use a spoon to put some cooked chicken into the taco shells. Add toppings lettuce, tomatoes, cheese, and then pour taco sauce on top. Enjoy…!
