less or more 2 tablespoons Jerk Seasoning (homemade or ready-made); - note: the more used the spicier it will be |
TO SPRUCE FLAVOR; THE CHEF RECOMMENDS USING THESE HERBS: (rub with the chicken before you add jerk seasonings) - optional
1 tablespoon Rosemary (dried or fresh) - flake it | |

Jerk it, Bake it, or Grill it:
After washed, cleaned and prepared properly, put the chicken quarters to marinate in the jerk sauce for 24 hours. (refrigerated) And or microwave for six minutes covered well.
To Bake, you will need to preheat the oven at the temperature 200 Degree Fahrenheit or 120 Degree Celsius.
Put the chicken quarters in a baking tray; with the back facing up for three hours, and then flip with front facing up.

Now leave it in the oven on 350 Degrees, and allow the chicken to bake for forty minutes. Base the chicken with jerk sauce. If you are using chicken parts the time will be thirty minutes. If you are baking half of a chicken, the times will be one hour and fifty minutes more.
Jerk Chicken is usually served with rolls or just sliced bread. You might think the hours are long for baking. However, the dedication is worth the wait.
