Adjust Servings
1/4 lb Peanut - raw - blend with water buy fresh
1/4 teaspoon Cinnamon Powder
1/4 teaspoon Nutmeg - grounded
1/4 teaspoon Salt - I use sea salt
1/2 teaspoon Vanilla Extracted - optional
1/2 cup Sugar - add this near the end
1/2 cup Condensed Milk
4 cups Water
To Thickened Porridge
2tablespoons Flour

Directions

Prepare Peanut:

Soak the peanut into water for 20 minutes to one hour. Blend the peanut with water until it is liquid.
Mark as complete

Cooking:

Put the 2 cups of blended peanut juice to boil with the stove gauged on 4. Once boil to, put your stove on low. Allow simmering for 15 minutes. While the peanut porridge is simmering, stir it in until it is creamy. Doing this will not make it lumpy. Stir in occasionally.

Sweeten it:

Add the sugar, spices and a pitch of salt. Use the pot's lid, slightly cover it three quarter way. After the 15 minutes add the milk (coconut milk).

Almost Finish Cooking:

Gentle stir in. You want the peanut porridge to be creamy. With the stove still on very low. Allow it to boil for another 20 to 30 minutes. Jamaican Peanut Porridge is ready to have. If you are serving hot, be careful do not get burn.
